" Kathy’s book is an essential guide to leadership. It gives the reader the ability to learn

more about themselves as a leader and to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to

effectively lead a team/organization. I read the book the week before I started as

assistant principal at a middle school; the more I read, the more confident I became. I felt

better prepared to venture into this new position. I believed more in my ability to lead

and gained the confidence to invest in myself. I love the quotes embedded throughout

the book, the humor, the everyday tips, and overall compilation of leadership strategies.
